Eternal Summer

Our world is called “Eternal Summer”, by which the name suggests that it is a world where it is eternally summer and the heat never goes away. It is set in a future America, where climate change has ravaged the nation into a desolate desert, and the primary story revolves around a major conflict: robots v. humans. An AI interface was created into robots, and upon gaining sentience, the robots decided their one mission was to conquer humanity and the land. They are continuously expanding their numbers and improving on their functionality, much to the dismay of humans trying to survive in the harsh conditions of the land.

Many humans are against the robots, but due to the aforementioned harsh conditions, they have to upgrade themselves with mechanical parts in order to survive. In this kill or be killed world, humans have to decide whether to compromise their moral integrity to survive, or to maintain their humanity and risk dying.
